pGayC/DC is a tribute band formed by Chris Freeman, who previously played in the Gay Gay’s. After recruiting guitarist Steve McKnight, who had experience in the LA music scene, and Karl Rumpf, a former member of the Gay Gay’s, the band searched for a gay vocalist but ultimately Freeman auditioned himself. They also added bassist Glen Pavan and later, Clint Yeager on rhythm guitar. The band stays true to AC/DC’s music but changes the lyrics to fit a gay theme. They have gained popularity and are in-demand for live shows.p
pThere is never a dull moment with all the costume changes and props being trotted out, all in the name of outrageous entertainment. Even those who say they don’t like AC/DC end up being fans. Who can blame them? Go see for yourself!p
