The LeatherPrideFest, this website and its content are maintained and managed by the San Francisco Eagle Bar, LCC, a limited liability corporation based in San Francisco, California operating at 398 12th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Data we may collect and store:

While you visit our site, and while using online and  mobile services we offer in the venue itself (while at the bar), we may track:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, mailing address and telephone numbers.
  • Employment information such as your job title and other business or company information.
  • Credentials such as your passwords, password hints and similar security information used for authentication and account access.
  • Demographic information such as your age, gender, country, interests and preferences. 
  • Web form information you provide in our web forms (forms you choose to complete will indicate whether the data requested is mandatory or voluntary).
  • Account history information related to products or services you purchase and activities associated with your account.
  • Cookie and tracking information such as IP address, device identifier, location data, browser type and language, access times, the Uniform Resource Locator (URL), other unique identifiers and technical data that may uniquely identify your device, system or browser.
  • Browser history information about the websites you visit.
  • Error reports and performance information of the products and any problems you experience, including error reports.
  • Troubleshooting and help information when you contact the SF-Eagle.com to make a purchase or for technical support or customer support services, phone conversations or chat sessions with our staff which may be monitored and recorded.
  • Content consumption information about media content (e.g. T.V., apps and games) you access through this website and/or in conjunction with services in the bar.
  • Feedback and rating information you provide to us such as customer survey feedback and reviews you write.
  • COVID-19 health and vaccination status and thermal temperature readings (as permitted by applicable law or in compliance with applicable public health directives).
  • Where and when you work, if you agree to share this information with us.

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process secure payments through our merchant processor and to prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

For example, we may store ‘non-sensitive’ order information for up to seven (7) years for tax, compliance and accounting purposes. This data may include your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.  

Please note: the SF Eagle DOES NOT store or maintain any ‘sensitive’ consumer financial information or cardholder data associated with your user account or purchases made through this website.  

We do record and take seriously your comments and reviews, if you choose to leave them.


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser agent string to help monitor, control and prevent spam.

An anonymized string created from users email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we may share your data with:

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. The data we collect is purely statistical in nature, used for the purpose of improving your experience while you visit our site, and to better serve you when you visit us at the SF Eagle bar. We do not trade or sell your user data to third-parties for marketing purposes.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For patrons that elect to register an account on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their profile. Certain information included in your profile can be viewed by other registered members, while other information can only be viewed by yourself or site administrators for the purpose of providing you with better service.

Your personal contact information is NEVER viewable by other registered members, but may be viewed by site administrators in order to fulfill orders and/or ship products that you have purchased through the site.  All registered members (patrons) can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username once it is chosen). Website administrators can see and edit the user’s information, with the exception of usernames.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data the site holds about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. and it does not affect any aggregated data that has been used statistically to measure broad tends of service usage, where your ordinary use of the site may have contributed to the result.

  • Right to Know: you may have the right to request information about the personal information we have collected about you and for what purpose.
  • Right to Access: you may have the right to request information about how we process your personal information and to obtain a copy of that personal information.

  • Right to Deletion: you may have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we have collected from you.
  • Right to Be Free from Discrimination: The SF Eagle will not discriminate against you for exercising your consumer privacy rights. 

Where we send your data

In order to reduced the likelihood and prevalence of spam on our site, visitor comments, including any comments that you may make, may be checked through an automated spam detection service that is operated by a third-party. All data handled in this way is anonymized before we validate it through any third-party service. We do not send any personally identifiable information to any third-party without your express consent and authorization at the time of the transaction.

We use appropriate technical, organizational, and physical data security safeguards to help protect against unauthorized access to, use or disclosure of your personal information, such as:

We encourage you to keep any passwords you use confidential and to be careful to avoid “phishing” scams where someone may send you an email that appears to be from the SF-Eagle.com asking for your personal information.  The SF-Eagle.com will NEVER request your ID or password through email.
